In 2007, on 20 December, Campbell Soup Company announced that the Godiva Chocolatier was going to be sold to Yildiz Holding, a company with the basis in Istambul. Yildiz Holding also owns the Ulker group. The transaction completed on March, 18. 2008 anf the final price was $850 million.
